Wanda Carter works in pastel, oil and acrylic mediums.  She paints portraits, both people and animals, landscapes, and still life.  She is especially interested in painting portraits of pets and people, too. She prefers working from life, whatever the subject may be, to capture the delicate nuances of the effects of the light. She often paints on location, traveling the countryside and camping.

It is especially exciting to paint portraits from life, whether it is an animal or a person.

Wanda belongs to the Northport Art Center, The SW FL Pastel Society, Englewood Art Center and the Charlotte County Art Guild.
